Enrique is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Illinois College of Law at Champaign.

He is currently an Assistant State's Attorney with the Cook County State's Attorney's Special Litigation Unit. Enrique has served as a Judicial Law clerk in the Illinois Appellate Court for Justices William Cousins, Jr., Denise M. O'Malley and Sebastian T. Patti. Prior to clerking, Enrique was an associate in the State and Local Tax Practice at Andersen, LLP.

Enrique has been a Board Member of the PRBA since 2004 and served as President from 2008 to 2010. He is also the Co-Chair of the Alliance of Bar Associations for Judicial Screening and Chairman of the the PRBA's Judicial Evaluation Committee.
