Patricia Rangel received her Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Northeastern Illiniois University and her Juris Doctorate from the John Marshall Law School.

She joined the law firm of RANGEL, RANGEL AND ASSOCIATES in 1983. The firm specializes in Family Law and related matters. She received the Outstanding Business Woman of the year from the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce in 2006, and the Vanguard Award from the Puerto Rican Bar Association in 2008.

She also teaches English, Criminal Justice and Paralegal course at Wilbur Wright College.
